Lincs Box Office Big Country January 31, 2022 Venue: Gliderdrome, Boston Contact: 01205 367919 - thegliderdrome@yahoo.co.uk Big Country was originally formed in 1981 by guitar playing founder members Stuart Adamson and Bruce Watson both native of the band’s hometown Dunfermline in Scotland. Initially driven by a shared vision of widescreen guitar melody, harmony and lyric, the classic Big Country sound was further enhanced later that summer by the arrival of drummer Mark Brzezicki and bass player Tony Butler.  A chart-topping group across the 1980s with hits such as Fields of Fire (400 Miles), In a Big Country, Chance and Wonderland. Their sound incorporates Scottish Folk and martial music style into their unique blend of post-punk, new wave & folk rock sound. Their success brought them to international touring shows and performances at the Grammy Aways, Saturday Night Live. Big Country are rock performers through and through and we invite you to join in and have a great night. Mark Brzezicki - Drums, Bruce Watson - Guitar, Jamie Watson - Guitar , Simon Hough - Vocals, Scott Whitley - Bass.Lincs Box Office Glenn Tilbrook February 14, 2022 Glenn Tilbrook has more than earned his place at pop’s top table as one of our most cherished singers, guitarists and songwriters, not to mention an in-demand and endlessly endearing live performer But more than 40 years after he first answered an ad placed by Chris Difford looking for like-minded sorts to form the band that became the much-loved evergreen Squeeze, an ending is nowhere in sight.
